My new project will be a limestone carving of a sleeping catfish. The stone is about 14″x11″ and I am using the 8″x 6″ clay model as a guide.
Catfish are a favorite theme for me. Years ago, several members of my family owned fish companies in Florida that bought and sold freshwater catfish.

Putting this collection together was a great idea 👏! I like seeing the somewhat hidden mushrooms in the box of catfish, and the box is lovely. I think this piece deserves to have its story told–just a suggestion.
